If you read an article a couple of times, the passages therein would be absorbed by the mind and would inadvertently flow out to mingle with your own words when you are writing articles. So, if you have used any single source predominantly in your article writing, you should ideally go back and check if similarities have crept in.

When you are doing article writing for an online article directory, there is no need to wait for an overall picture on the topic to emerge for you to start writing. The articles that are done for these directories are essentially small so that you can just start writing articles with the few points that you get and you will often find that it swells up to fill enough lines for one article. Save everything that you write and save it with appropriate titles and categorization that make referencing easy. Collect articles with similar contents into one folder and give the folder an appropriate name for reference. For those who are writing articles continuously on one subject, this collection would become good reference material after a period. Even for those who are into article writing of a more general nature, one's own collection can become a good information source.
