| Language Log: The Cupertino effect Posted: 02 Aug 2010 10:33 AM PDT a lot of early spellcheck programs didnt understand the word "cooperate", unless you wrote it as co-operate, the spell check would auto correct it as Cupertino (a city in California). so people in other countries would get these memos with "Cupertino" written in accidentally. Many of them spoke poor English, so when they would stand in front of audiences to address people (this was the 1950's) they would stand there and say "Cupertino!" over and over in place of "cooperate" |

| 10 Instant Blog Post Templates to Help You Write Articles in 30 Minutes or Less Posted: 01 Aug 2010 10:03 PM PDT I am a natural born writer, so writing has always come easy to me. But, when I had to start writing |
| Posted: 01 Aug 2010 07:01 PM PDT You love to write and can even make a living out of it. You search the net every now and then for writing jobs, hoping you’ll stumble upon one that you can work on part-time or even full-time. However, you find it hard to look for writing jobs that are for real. Most of the ones seen on the net are bogus job posts, scams to say the least…..So you continue scouting the net again… Now here comes the good news!….freelancer (previously get a freelancer) is the “in” jobsite nowadays for people looking for any type of online job, part-time or full-time, doesn’t really matter. At freelancer you can earn more than a hundred dollar a week, and it’s only part-time. You can maximize your potential at freelancer because there are more than a handful of online jobs for everybody. Jobs include article writing and submission, I.T., translation, data entry, transcription, research, product reviews….the list goes on…… Freelancer.com is free and does not charge a single penny upon registration. A 30-bid limit every month is provided to everyone and this is free as well. You can bid on any projects from the job categories you have chosen. Once chosen for a job, that’s when the job seeker will be charged a minimum amount. At freelancer.com, employers usually pay through the site or through paypal. Others also use moneybookers, wire transfers, or western union. Payment through paypal and the site though are still the most common. If you are still constantly searching for that perfect job site, then why not try freelancer.com? I did and am now able to earn at least a hundred dollar a week. Not bad for someone who is a newbie when it comes to professional article writing. It took me more than a week and more than 20 bids before an employer finally noticed me and my potential and now am working for the employer and loving it! For the writer in me I chose freelancer.com ……how bout you? credit to sqback for the pic-
