I trained as a Legal Executive in the field of Medical Negligence and was made redundant in January 2009 after 10 years service, and went from a good income to absolutely nothing. & I mean nothing! Then to make matters even worse one month after being made redundant, my husband was also made redundant. 

The income for the household which comprises of my husband, 3 children and me came from her sons' paper round money and my daughter's part-time wage from working at a shoe store. Not very much but it was able to feed us! Things were pretty dire and in the economic climate there were no jobs. My car, a Jaguar S Type had been repossessed; the 5 bed roomed family home was on the brink of being repossessed, bills dropped through the letterbox every morning and we had to wrap up in blankets to keep warm (couldn't afford to put on the heating).

But me being me I was not about to give up. I was deetermined to provide for my family and started to research online businesses and was excited by the possibilities I found.

I was already accustomed to carrying out research and writing legal documents, and decided to put my skills to use.
