| Posted: 10 Mar 2011 04:01 AM PST I have worked with many employers through ODESK and Elance. One of the most common things I noticed is that they would ask me to write an article with 3-4% of their website’s keyword. At first, I just followed their instructions. Until it makes me curious as to why almost all of them demand for such. I would say it can get pretty annoying. Since keywords and phrases may not actually be readable or doesn’t make any sense. Now, its my task to make it readable for it to actually make sense. Sometimes I feel these employers would like to make me do something impossible. This is where you have to force your creativity to come into the picture. Keyword density are more of SEO’s thing. SEO is Search Engine Optimization. These articles have the goal being found when their readers read for it. So the more keywords there is, the more relevant Google, Yahoo, and other search engine think for the reader’s search. Oh well, its not that hard. Let the keyword be your guide when you are writing your articles. You can get used to it. |
