Creating Your Unique Business Card or Tips Book

Posted: 06 Dec 2011 05:20 AM PST

Tune in today, December 6th at 10am EST to hear how you can improve your marketing plans for your small to mid-size business. Marketing budgets are tight as the year comes to a close, but there are things you can do in the near future that will boost your business.

Our interviewer and host, Tim Morrison, becomes the interviewee as WHWN's guest host, Vanessa Lowry takes the interview seat. In October, Tim released his newest book, Basic Writing Tips for Emerging Writers: A Manual to Help You Focus and to Improve Your Writing from the Start. Vanessa, our permanent guest host, created the cover design and layout for the book. Dr. Tim markets the book as a prototype for other businesses and calls it Your Unique Business Card. Learn what goes into creating a "tips book" and how it can be a valuable marketing tool for you and/or your business.

And maybe you'll get lucky this week…Vanessa might toss out some questions to provide our listeners with an opportunity to learn more about Tim as a writer and entrepreneur.

If you miss today's show, you can always come back to the archives!

Yep, we’re introducing the first-ever Copyblogger infographic. It’s about our favorite topic — creating great content.

And, as has been our style since the beginning, we’re practicing what we preach. This infographic demonstrates how to repurpose existing content in a different media format, get more bang from your archives, and reach new and different audiences in the process.

The graphic is based on 21 Ways to Create Compelling Content When You Don’t Have a Clue by Copyblogger guest writer Danny Iny. We’ve re-imagined the way to present these content-creation tips, while adding a meta-fabulous #22 (you’ll see why).

Special thanks to our friends on the BlueGlass infographic team for making this thing look so good!
